Performance Characteristics
- Equipped with a Cummins Stage IV electronically controlled turbocharged engine, delivering strong power with energy-saving and environmentally friendly performance.
- The hydraulic and electrical systems are engineered for high reliability, low failure rate, and easy maintenance.
- Core system components use imported or joint-venture brands. The rotary head uses original French Poclain low-speed high-torque motors for direct drive, effectively solving the traditional problem of reducer overheating and short service life.
- The rotation system adopts a closed-loop circuit with closed-loop piston pumps paired with French Poclain low-speed high-torque motors, ensuring high torque and high speed output. Poclain motors offer strong impact resistance and long service life even in rock formations and other complex ground conditions. The thrust/pull and auxiliary functions use Permco hydraulic pumps from the USA for high efficiency and reliability.
- Gear and rack transmission with dual piston pull-back motor reducers drives the rotary head trolley; rotation offers two speed ranges, and thrust/pull offers three speed ranges.
- Rotation and thrust/pull use pilot control with multifunctional joysticks integrating auxiliary functions for comfortable and simple operation.
- A four-bar linkage boom lifting mechanism keeps the tracks firmly on the ground even at large drilling angles, effectively ensuring rig stability during both drilling and pull-back operations.
- The clamp is angled 10° inward toward the operator, making clamp operations easy to observe and monitor.
- Crawler travel offers two speed ranges for improved site transfer efficiency. The integrated manual/radio remote travel system is safe and reliable, and provides wider visibility.
